Containere - baskets:
Varer som pakkes i containere og baskets skal stemples av og sikres på en forsvarlig måte. Videre skal en så langt det lar seg gjøre unngå forsendelser i kategorien "dekkslast" i slyng da faren for dropp til sjø øker ved slik håndtering. I de tilfeller dette allikevel må benyttes må ekstra sikringstiltak i form av wirelås og spennset samt smerting utføres.

Containers baskets:
Goods, packed in containers and baskets, are to be fastened and secured properly. Further on, shipments categorized as deck cargo in loop, are to be avoided as the risk of dropping it into the sea is increasing by such a handling. In those cases a method like this has to be utilized, extra safety measures in the form of wire lock and tension set as well as parcelling, has to be used.
